POLYNUCLEOTIDES

What is it?

Polynucleotides make up our DNA and RNA. By injecting into specific areas of concerns the skin beings to repair and rejuvenate. This results in a reduction of free radicals, and an increase in fibroblast production - a cell contributes to the production of collagen and elastin.

These events result in increased hydration, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, rosacea and discolouration, dark circles, skin laxity. And increases hair growth.

What is the difference between polynucleotides and skin boosters?

Boosters are fantastic at hydrating and plumping, while polynucleotides regenerate the skin through fibroblast production and targeting free radicals. This means while results may take longer to see, they last longer.

When will I see the results?

Most people will begin to see the results within a few weeks. However as this is regenerative some people continue to see the best results after a few months.

Does it hurt?

A numbing cream will be applied before treatment as the product does sting a little bit. However, this is momentary - stopping as soon as the injection has finished. People liken the sting as being similar to boosters.

How long does the treatment take?

While this is dependant on the area being treated, you can expect to be in the clinic between 30-45 minutes. This will allow time for the numbing cream to work. Injection time is usually around 5-7 minutes per area.
